Hello, everyone. Today I have quite a bit to share but first – happy new year. May 2024 bring you all the best that you desire!
OK, once the formalities are out, I would like to share TOP 4 highlights of my entire 5 years of achievements hunting.
4. Grand Theft Auto Trilogy Definitive Edition completion
I know I did in 2022 summer or so. I mentioned over the last 5 years anyway so this works. I am super proud of completing GTA 3, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas over a course of several months.
GTA 3 and VC were amazing and quick. However, GTA SA was a bit of a grind – completing absolutely everything (except unique stunt jumps?), all missions, assets and side activties. Getting all the guns to top tier, dating all 6 girls (it was quite boring and annoying), winning all gang war lands, all collectibles, etc … it took me around 150 hours that one game. But done and I feel amazing.
3. Saints Row (latest 4 games)
This includes Saints Row The Third Remastered, Saints Row Gat Out of Hell, Saints Row IV Re-elected and Saints Row (2022).
The Third was best and quickest. However, Saints Row Gat Out of Hell was super annoying – it has an achievement were you have to play co-op for 2 or 3 hours. Managed it at the end. Saints Row IV Re-Elected was most annoying. I was lucky that Re-Elected version doesn’t have 2 co-op achievements that original has – playing co-op for 5 hours and completing entire game in co-op. Super annoying … why?
Saints Row (2022) was also enjoyable game. I don’t get the hate towards this game. One small co-op game that can be done within 5 minutes but other than that – mostly grinding. I haven’t completed the final 2 DLCs yet but sure as hell I will.
2. Assassin’s Creed (latest 5 games)
I have not completed all games in the series but I have done AC 1, AC 2 (Xbox 360), AC 2 from Ezio Collection. But the proudest completions – the last 5 AC games – Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (decent, 50 hours maybe), Assassin’s Creed Origins (really good game, around 80 hours), Assassin’s Creed Odyssey (the best game of all time personally, I have played it for around 1,200 hours over the last 4 or 5 hours across multiple playthroughs; completion – 120 hours or so), Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (most annoying but I did enjoy, just not the grind – roughly 400 hours spent, mostly on challenge medals) and Assassin’s Creed Mirage (really hated at first until got a hang of controls and stealth, roughly 30 hours).
I am really looking forward to Assassin’s Creed RED or whatever the next one is going to be called.
1. Earning 1,000,000 GS
Earning 1 millions Gamerscore is no easy or quick feat. Yes, as of today (January 1st, 2024), I am officially Gamerscore Millionnaire). It has taken me over 5 years to achieve this (November 2018). Next up – 2,000,000 by the end of 2024 (too much to ask?) xD
Now that I have revealed my TOP 4 highlights, I would like to take a glimpse of the future.
Changes approaching
There will be some changes (I tried to enforce them at some point but lack of time, etc …). The thing is, I am moving into my own place (yes, my biggest achievement so far is the fact that as of 30th of November, 2023 – I am a legal home owner. YES, I BOUGHT MY OWN PLACE). I will be moving in completely on my own within the next 1 or 2 weeks so I might have more time to play and hunt achievements.
In order to tell you about my changes – I need to give you example. Although I did this with Saints Row already:
Tekken 8 is coming out on 25th of January, 2024. I want to earn all achievements on Tekken 6 and Tekken 7 (actually, I will take care of T7 just in case I don’t have as much time).
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is coming out on 26th of January, 2024. I already have 940 of 1,000 GS for Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. I’ll redownload the game on my laptop as it is so much easier to earn certain achievements on laptop.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is coming out on 22nd of March, 2024. There is Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen that I’d like to complete. However, according to TA, it takes 150-200 hours so I am not sure if I’ll have this much time escpeciallly when February is lit with amazing games … not to mention games like Expeditions and Skull and Bones coming out too …
So the idea is that I will look at certain games I want to complete each month and then try to also complete their preceeeding games. For example, I don’t have to worry about Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes because I have completed Eiyuden Chronicles: Risen.
My next change – blog everyday here. Or, should I say, every weekday. Because, let’s be honest – who wants to write during the weekends? I have to travel and have to dance, you know … xD
Also, I want to do more reviews. My recent The Crew Moterfest review was received amazingly well. I also want people to start coming to my website through Google search terms such as [X] game review. Don’t expect me to write guides because that takes time which I rather spent on grinding the next game. There are tons of great guides on YouTube for pretty much any game.
More reading. As opposite as it may sound, I actually do want to start reading (starting today?). Well, at least 30 minutes a day before bed so I sleep better.
Now that my changes are out of the way, one last thing – the games I’d like to complete (earn all achievements) that were released in 2023 or before:
- All FORZA games
- All games released by Outright Games (because they are easy :P)
- All games and their title updates from the usual suspects (Ratalaika, EastAsiaSoft, EpiXR Games, Chilidog Entertainment, Thernox, Weakfish Studios, Desert Water Games, etc …)
- All Borderlands games (except Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands because that game IS NOT BORDERLANDS and it sucks
- GTA IV and GTA V
- As many NFS games as possible (I believe some of them can’t be completed anymore)
- Hogwarts Legacy
- Finish many games I have already started (Wreckfest, Gravel, etc …)
- Oh and achieve 2,000,000 GS in total (which means 85K GS / month) xD
THat’s it. Happy New Year and happy hunting hunters!
