Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – The Forgotten Saga is also done and more!

Assassin's Creed Valhalla The Forgotten Saga

HUNTERS! Just wanted to let you know that The Forgotten Saga for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has also been completed! It wasn’t as bad as I thought although some luck element was involved … and I got lucky … very much so.

The Forgotten Saga achievements

OK, so there are around 9 achievements – 2 or 3 “story” related that cannot be missed. Also, you need to complete a very long string of different quests that nobody tells you about (thanks to PowerPyx guides!). And then there are a few “grindy” achievements. I say “grindy” in quotes because they are not so bad … you just need to be very lucky for one.

So there is one acheivement that requires you to acquire Kick of Tyr ability and kick 10 enemies off the ledge. Not necessary kill them, just make them fall. I was super lucky to find this ability on the very first visit of the shop so I got this achievement out of my way before I return to Odin’s camp for the first time.

The most annoying achievement was to do a string of 3 quests to get “Freedom Fighter” achievement. Of course, nothing is clear and it would require multiple re-runs. 2 or 3 reruns per quest. Most frustrating quest was the 3rd quest in 3rd area. When you do the reruns, that also means you would have to run through areas 1-3 again and again. But that’s done now.

Then there were couple special achievements where you had to beat dragon boss (3rd area) without using elk shirens (healing stations). Of course, I had to acquire Dwarven outfit. After maximinising the outfit level, it was super easy as you just heal very quickly. When facing the dragon boss, my max health was 350. My health dropped down to 297 at one point … so yeah. it was easy!

Then you also need to kill the last boss Hel in a certain outfit that gives you only half healing effect but makes you stronger the less HP you have. At least you could use elk shrines to heal yourself. This was my last achievement that I earned and it was a good fun.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla mastery challenges

I also started working on my last 3 achievements for the game. I needed to get my first gold medal in challenges, get all gold medals in all mastery challenges (part 1) and get all gold medals in mastery challenges (part 2).

I already got 8 gold medal. I almost had 9 of 15 gold medals required for the first part. Some say that the second outpost is the hardest which I already completed – the rest should be an easy run. I say I almost had 9 golds because on my last attempt, I tried raven (stealth) challenge in Odin’s camp. The last bastard noticed me rendering the gold medal impossible as you have to remain undetected for the entiorety of the run. I guess more on these mastery challenges tomorrow as I hope to get the first part done today!

Happy hunting hunters!
