Hello everybody. I know it has been a while. Over the summer I was mainly playing on Epic Games Store but seeing that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is not coming out on Epic with achievements, I decided to get back to Xbox achievements hunting!
So my first impressions of Assassin’s Creed Mirage – amazing! I really love the fact that the gameplay is very similar to that of AC Valhalla (which I blogged about quite a few times here, here, here and here). Combat is slightly different and I am not used to so I try to sneak around everything rather that go swords blazing!
I am also mastering my skills. This time, instead of playing on easiest difficulty, I decided to play on “Normal”. I feel it’s harder than “easy” but it’s about time I get to play games on harder difficulties. Otherwise I may never imprive my own gaming skills. Back in a day when I was little I would always play on hardest. Yes, I was a hardcore gamer back then.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage impressions
Back to Assassin’s Creed Mirage – I absolutely love the fact that the game world is so much smaller than AC Valhalla. It’s only Baghdad and couple other villages and dessert. I have already revealed entire map via viewpoints which takes about 2 hours or less. It has only 21 viewpoints to synchornise.
When you go to a market, there are many people (NPCs, of course) and you can hear their chatter as if they were actually around you, the person, not Basim.
What I don’t particularly like is the combat. So it’s just a light hit, heavy hit, parry and dodge. I also unlocked the “Sparta” kick via skill tree. I am sure my combat will improve as I keep playing the game because I suck at fighting. But then again – I am not playing on easiest difficulty.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage achievements unlocked
I only played for 3-4 hours so far. These are the 5 achievements I earned so far:
- The Master Thief of Anbar – completed the prologue
- La shay’a waqi’un mutlaq – became an Initiate of the Hidden Ones
- Crossing Paths – completed a Tale from Baghdad
- Fearless – synchronized all viewpoints
- Street Cleaner – hid 5 bodies in bales of hay
And now I am at 90 / 1,000 GS and 45 achievements remaining.
