Hi, so over the weekend I continued playing Borderlands 1 GOTY. I picked up where I left off 1 year ago. I want to get a full completion by 12th of April because Ghostwire: Tokyo is coming out on Xbox and straight into GamePass that day. While I have around 2 weeks to do that, I also have my 4K GS / day challenge that I set up for myself. This challenge is going to take 2 months so I can finally hit my first 1,000,000 GS.
On top of that, we also have the Easter + I will be travelling a bit in May. Anyway, this post is not about me but rather about Borderlands. I just wanted to say that this game is still very epic after a decade and a half after its original release. Sure, there are some annoying things like Fast travel only works when you are at the FT station. Unlike in Borderlands 3 where you could fast travel from anywhere in the map to a Fast Travel Station.
There is an issue with vehicle controls. It sucks ass, yes but they improved it over the next installments. Some annoying things like very small rocks would stop you completely which you’d normally be able to drive through …
Anyway, as I said, I picked up again after 1 year. I already had a few achievements earned in February 2022 such as:
- Paid in Fyrestone
- Discovered Skag Gully
- Ding! Newbie
- Down in Front!
- Rootinest, Tootinest, Shootinest
- Ding! Novice
- Get A Little Blood on the Tires
So yes, only 7 achievements. At that time I couldn’t even beat the Sledge (1st boss). Fast forward 1 year later, now I picked up again, levellep up a bit over the weekend and these are 14 achievements that I earned:
- Pyro
- Discovered Sledge’s Safe House
- Discovered Headstone Mine
- You call this archeology?
- 12 Days of Pandora
- Fence
- Wanted: Sledge
- There are some who call me … Tim
- Ding! Expert
- Made in Fyrestone
- Weapon Aficionado
- Master Exploder
- Paid in New Haven
- Discovered The Scrapyard
At this moment, I have 21 / 80 achievements and look forward to the full completion 🙂
