Hello hunters! Before I tell you about my top 3 highlights of 2022, I would like to tell you more about my goals for 2022.
Of course, these goals will not override my real life business or personal goals but I will try achieve these gaming goals by the end of 2023:
- Kinda double my gamerscore (from 663,000 GS to 1,200,000+ GS)
- Work on certain franchises’ completions
- Play more indie games
- Work on YouTube channel
OK, let’s discuss each goal in more detail.
Kinda double Gamerscore
OK, in January 2022, I thought I would be reaching 1 million GS by the end of this month. I had just under 400K GS back then and I thought that getting averagely 50K GS/mo would be easy but then life happened and my goal never got realised.
So my new goal for the 2023 is still the same – to get 600,000 GS. If you think about it – it’s under 2,000 GS a day. With the influx of easy or cheatable games, it’s not hard to get 10,000 – 15,000 GS per week. Not to mention, easy title updates that more and more quick completion game developers/publishers are adding.
Yeah, I feel, in 2023, I will be exploiting these games and gaining more and more Gamerscore.
Work on certain franchises
I already did this once earlier this year with Saints Row. Back in August, a new Saints Row remake got released. Before the game came out, in early summer I actually started working on older Saints Row games. So, before the newest Saints Row came out, I actually got all achievements on Saints Row The Third Remastered, Saints Row IV Re-Elected, Saints Row GAT Out of Hell and eventually Saints Row remake. Of course, when the next Saints Row game comes out (if ever), I’ll try to finish Saints Row 1 (the very first game) and Saints Row 2. Perhaps, maybe, even Saints Row 3 (non-remastered version).
For the next year – One Piece Odyssey is coning out in early January. I will be playing One Piece World Seeker before the Odyssey comes out so I can play Odyssey and get all achievements as well. Another example – Dead Space remake is also coming in January – I will be playing the non-remastered trilogy. I can’t promise if I will complete all 3 games before the remake comes out but I will certainly give it a try.
Play more indie games
At some point in 2023, I will have one month where I challenge myself to complete 1 indie game a day. Whether it’s from Artifex Mundi or games like Calico, Wavetale, etc … these games would be 2-6 hours long but not from usual quick completion game developers.
Work on YouTube channel
I already have a YouTube channel but I plan to start a new series that would air each Monday. I would talk about all the games I finsihed over the last 7 days. It would be something like “Last week I gained 23,000 GS, here is how” and then I will talk about the games I played and show some footage also.
Each Thursday I may have another series that I might start as the year goes on but I am not sure what kind of series yet.
As you can see, the 2023 will be a year of breakthroughs in my “gaming career”.
